For long service life of wear partsThe hard chrome coating extends the service life of wear parts many times over, thus ensuring long, trouble-free machine running times. It is therefore excellent for repairing high-value components – and offers an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to scrapping and buying new ones.
Depending on the technical requirements of your parts, we recommend PTFE-containing sealing as a post-treatment in addition to hard chrome plating. For optimum wear protection, we also perform mechanical processing such as pre-grinding, regrinding and polishing for you in-house.

Micro crack hard chrome plating
Hardness 950-1,100 HV0.1 130-150 linear cracks per cm in the as-deposited state
Hot chrome hard chrome
1st stage: hot chrome; hardness 450-500 HV0.1 crack-free
2nd stage: microcracking hard chrome plating
Double hard chrome
Two layers deposited on top of each other, where the microcracks overlap.
Multilayer hard chrome
Three layers deposited on top of each other with different parameters, forming a layer closed to the base material.
